We wanted to share our plans around upcoming breaking changes in version 2 of Charts & Reports for Jira ServiceDesk so that you can plan for a smooth transition in using our App.

Breaking Changes in version 2

When you upgrade to version 2.0, you’ll not be able to downgrade to an earlier version of Charts & Reports for Jira ServiceDesk. If you have concerns, you should test in a test/staging environment before installing in production.
All your existing Dashboards & filters will be lost and will have to be re-created manually.

We’ve tried hard to listen to our customers though surveys and support reach out. One thing that we heard was that while almost everybody likes the look and feel of the user interface, some of the more advanced features were hard to find. So we’ve revamped the user interface in a variety of ways.

In the brand new dashboard design, it’s easy to create and customize and share Views. We provide you with a rich catalogue of pre-defined charts & widgets to help you create custom report easily.

No need to email reports to your Jira Service Desk customers. Enable your customers to view your standardised report right within Jira Service Desk Customer Portal.
